Why we recommend it: Underwater Kinetics is well known in the both the Scuba and Movie worlds for their protective carrying cases. UK's founder is a customer of ours and suggested we try out their smallest ultrabox for the foxL. We liked it so much we decided to offer a Soundmatters version. It's small, tough and lightweight. Important note/caveat: Obviously the foxL’s in-car speaker and speakerphone performance/volume will be much better in a relatively quiet car. I use it with in an iPhone with an '01 BMW Z3 which is probably about worst case re: noise that'll drown out the mic/sound... with the top up on normal streets, foxL works pretty well as a speakerphone (with my top down, forget about it) and though there's a fair amount of bass loss, it sounds pretty good on music too.

Why we recommend it: When Time magazine named the foxL as a Top Ten Gadget of the Year, they commented on its ability to “handle calls on the road.” Unfortunately there’s been no way to securly car mount it... until now! Though not inexpensive (they’re not mass tooled but are individually formed in small qties)‚ the ProClip system is unique two part system - foxL just snaps in a custom speaker cradle (part 1). It's securely held and can swivel to angle towards you. You screw this cradle into (part 2)‚ a vehicle/location specific bracket which has been clipped into the seams of your dashboard. No cutting or screwing into the dash and they have brackets that fit virtually any make model of car.
ProClip's product pitch: ProClip utilizes a 2 PART SOLUTION or Car Kit. The Vehicle Mount clips tightly into the seams of the dashboard, providing a very sturdy bracket for your device. The foxL swivel cradle attaches to the Vehicle Mount creating a secure and convenient mounting position. The FoxL can be angled towards you for optimal listening and microphone access. Average installation time for this 2 PART SOLUTION is approximately 2 minutes, and anyone can do it. No dismantling of your dashboard is required and there is no damage to the vehicle interior.

An audible upgrade cable for audio purists
Why we recommend it: AudioQuest is one of the most prestigious audio manufacturers in the business and the new Evergreen series, while their least costly cable, is certainly worth the expense for a serious foxL listener. I immediately heard improved high frequency response with no splattering of cymbals or the finger snapping on our test track (compared with our standard cable on the foxLv2.) the bass was also a bit better, warmer sounding.

Why we recommend it: A surprising number of people are using two seperate foxLs to create a high output/wide separation discrete left and right speaker system. Normally splitting and separating the channels requires a rats nest of cables and adapters.
